Understand the scope
Lighthouse automatically checks some accessibility rules. Other questions require human judgment: does alternative text accurately describe an image? Does the reading order make sense? Are form instructions understandable? A high score does not answer all these questions. Use the report to identify specific issues, without treating it as a certificate of compliance.
Navigate with a keyboard
Starting at the top of the page, use Tab and Shift+Tab to move through links and controls. Check whether focus remains visible, follows a logical order, and lets you open and close the menu. Test overlays and make sure you can leave them. This simple check can reveal a difficulty that a screenshot cannot show.
Review forms differently
Check that a field has a clear label even after its placeholder disappears. Try submitting an incomplete form and observe where the error appears. Visitors should understand which field is affected and what to correct. Also check for a success message that does not rely only on a color change.
Organize fixes
Keep a list of the affected components and observed problems. Fix barriers to important actions first. Repeat the checks after making changes, and request a specialist review if compliance needs to be established. Applicable obligations depend on the service; an Pingsivo report does not provide a legal conclusion.
Your next action
Choose one page, note what you want to check and save a report. After making a change, use comparison to examine the differences. Review the context before concluding that there has been an improvement.
